Festival of Stocks at Gannon On Investing

The 99th edition of the Festival of Stocks is hosted this week at Gannon On Investing. That’s right, one of my favorite value investing bloggers, Geoff Gannon, is once again actively writing on his blog. He did a great job with this week’s Festival, so be sure to check it out.

Security AnalysisI’m actually participating in Geoff’s new Security Analysis reading group. It just got started, so it is not too late to join. Just start by reading the first homework assignment. Then read the preface and chapter 1 of Benjamin Graham’s 1940 edition of Security Analysis and you will be all caught up with the group.

If you finish all that reading, visit the Festival of Stocks homepage to review past editions of this unique financial blog carnival.

With the recent falls in the stock market, now is an excellent time to start reading Benjamin Graham and using the principles of value investing.
