ING Direct Raises Savings Rate to 4.15

I just noticed that ING Direct Raised their savings account to 4.15% APY. ING Direct was the first online savings account that I ever opened. I still have a small amount of money with them, since I like their CDs.

I noticed that I can pass on an ING Direct deal. The ING Direct website states, “If your friend opens an account with at least $250, we will also deposit a $25 bonus in their new account and a $10 thank you bonus in your Orange Savings Account.” I’ll send you a referral if you leave me your full name and email address. Either leave that information below in the comments section or feel free to send it to me via my contact form.

While INGDirect’s rate is not quite as good as the current 4.5% APY at EmigrantDirect, INGDirect is a bit easier to initially sign up for and their website is more feature rich. You can always have an account with both banks to cover your bases.

HSBC Direct has a 4.80% intro, dropping to 4.5% after one month. It took me about 10-15 minutes to sign up on the internet.

HSBC Direct’s rate has just been reduced to 4.50%. I don’t believe the 4.80% intro offer is still available.

I love my ING Direct account. It doesn’t have the highest APY but you won’t get better customer service anywhere else. Also, their online interface is just easy and awesome.
I also do still have many referral links left if anyone would like to contact me to receive a link (either for an orange savings account or the electric orange checking/savings account) to sign up for an account. You receive $25 for signing up with a min. of $250 or more. A nice little bonus for nothing! Just shoot me an e-mail @ and I’ll send the link right back to you!
