Western Sizzlin (WSZL) just issued a press release announcing that its stock has been approved for listing on the Nasdaq (NDAQ). Valuing Western Sizzlin

On Monday, Western Sizzlin (WSZL) announced the final results of its rights offering. As was discussed in my post announcing that I was buying Western Sizzlin for the Fat Pitch Financials Portfolio, Sardar Biglari issued 898,875 new shares of WSZL through a rights offering that started on October 17 and ended November 16, 2007.  The rights allowed holders to purchase Western Sizzlin stock

November Performance for the Fat Pitch Financials Portfolio

As you can see from the chart below, the Fat Pitch Financials Portfolio outperformed the S&P 500 this month as well as the other major indexes.  The portfolio closed with a balance of $1,367,882.61 on November 30, 2007.  My cash levels climbed up to $558,727.41. It’s really nice to have cash in the ready now
