Spring Cleaning

Monday, May 14th, 2007 | Site News with 2 Comments

Spring is often the time we make changes, clean out our homes, plant flowers, and prepare for the summer ahead. To honor this ritual of spring cleaning, I am giving Fat Pitch Financials a much deserved overhaul. I’m pulling out dead links, seeding new content, and applying a fresh coat of color to this site.

This morning you will notice a new look and feel to Fat Pitch Financials. I welcome any feedback you might have on this new theme I’m calling Stock Value. (I’ll be sharing this theme’s code to the public shortly.) Expect the look to change a bit more over this coming week as the dust around here starts to settle down.

In addition to the new look, I’ve also improved the organization of the site and added some new functionality.  Some of the changes include:

  • Recent comments list in the sidebar
  • Enhanced comment and trackback organization and appearance
  • Improved site search
  • Value Investing News headlines
  • Drop down page menu

I will likely add a few more features later this week. If you have any ideas for features that you would like added, please leave me a comment below or contact me directly.
