Estimating the value of your home

There was an interesting post today on PFBlog regarding online tools to estimate the value of your home. The results I got from Basis100 seemed pretty reasonable for my home. I was really surprised at the details they had regarding my home, such as the year the home was built and the number of bathrooms. The report also included three comparable recent home transactions. Ditech also provides a similar service that produced estimates for my home that were very similar to the Basis100 tool.
