You could also include OCA, which is headquartered in Metairie, and which is a candidate to be delisted from the NYSE. You may be aware that OCA has a huge short sale position that has been outstanding for about three years now. I think the hurricane will prove to be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back and that OCA will not recover.

That is a great idea Ameya. I should probably do the same thing before the market opens tomorrow. Then I can report back next year on how the recovery went for these companies.

Thank you for researching those stocks, I have created a portfolio on yahoo just of these stocks to keep track on how these companies recover. Hopefully this data might be useful for me in the future.
